The One Malaysia concept

hey people, today i would like to talk something about my country, Malaysia.
I will stand in a neutral point which no bias occurred to any sides to justify my point.

The one malaysia concept was launched April 2009, an effort done by our PM to cultivate values and harmony among the races in Malaysia. When once we heard about the 1Malaysia concept, does it actually mean that the government will treat all Malaysian with equality? Somehow, it engenders certain level of ambiguity by the saying of "1Malaysia". This results to questions arose from the mass media and organizations to demand a further and detailed explanation of the 1Malaysia concept. However, the slogan somewhat creates a positive feeling in the community. In a multiracial country like Malaysia, unity is the highest priority between the races which help us to stay strong for the past 53 years of independence.

Ever since it was launched, it was constantly used by people to spread the 1Malaysia concept to the nation. People often used "Salam Satu Malaysia" in their speech that actually show how the nation takes 1Malaysia concept as a serious matter instead of just another catchy slogan.

The concept was never to abolish the special privileges to the bumis which most of us thought. However, it will be conduct in a better way which benefits were also given to the non-malays. This was stated on Dr. Hasnul's report saying that "The key principle of 1Malaysia is not abrogate affirmative action and Bumiputera privileges as stipulated in the Federal Constituition of 1957, rather to improve on its implementation in a just and fair manner". In other words, the non-malays will not be treated equally as the bumis but only better than before.

One of the values that was stated on the One Malaysia Concept is Unity and Integrity. Unity simply means that all races live hand-in-hand to create a harmonize environment among the Malaysian. The diversity of cultures between races should be respected between one another. This should include our style, fashion, arts and performance arts. It was stated in the same report by Dr. Hasnul stated that "Fashion, performance arts, music and etc:, must be able to portray the essence of unity 1malaysia tries to achieve".

With this knowledge that you have just learnt about the One Malaysia concept, let us watch a video from youtube by a controversial singer in Malaysia, namewee.





After watching the video, do you find a new definition to the so called "1Malaysia concept"?
My questions are pretty simple....

Is he treated in a just and fair manner?

Why language is still a main concern since diversity of all arts and cultures from other races should be respected?

Why is he still rejected from the creative fund since there is no restriction in any languages?



Well, i will just leave them to you guys. At least, we know why there are so few non-malays movie production in our country. Plus, this is not the only issue that can be seen.

So guys, tell me when 1Malaysia is really happening...


p/s: I am neither being racist nor trying to pull up the non-malays. I am just stating my point of view based on facts and evidence. Please do correct me if i interpret them wrongly.

Death girl ...

hey people, long time no see.. well i was busy with presentation, reports and stuff..Finally, i have done all of them.. awesomess!! haha now is just final to go..

so recently, i watched a taiwanese drama... 死神少女- death girl, a dark college drama .. it is a very different drama compared to the other taiwanese drama, coz most of their drama are love story...

this time around, the drama is based on true story.. It is about the real life social cases that happened throughout the years in taiwan which involve students in high school....

Cases such as homosexuality, teenage prostitution, suicidal, broken family and etc have been common in today's society.. this drama will show us how these teenagers resort to become what they are not suppose to be...

I truly recommend this drama to u guys because it allow us to see what have happened to to these people nowadays and how we should avoid being one of them...

Another reason for me to like this drama is because it is based on real life happening matters, so ya.... hope u guys enjoy =)

hey people, finally, i can take a deep breath and rest well today.. time flies, november is going to end very soon... lol

Alright, so i came back, after i took a shower, i went to sleep... After i woke up, i found some newspapers somewhere in my hse, is sort of a miracle coz i happen to read one of them today. XD

it was a chinese newspaper, and ya, i can still read most of the chinese words.. so it was great XD
Well, the news was pretty messed up...

There is always people dying, raping, accidents and natural disasters.

One of the news that actually took my attention was a raping case... i was totally disgusted once i read it.

It was a 14 years old girl who was slightly mental retarded lost her way home while she was walking back home... So, there this 16 years old asshole kid saw her and he call his friend so that they rape her together. after that, she was thrown to some place at the side of the road.. finally, she was found and save by the people...

If i know who the hell are the guys is.. i will literally kill them with my bare hands, how fuck up is those kid.. she's mentally retarded, just fking leave her alone!!... damn...

hey people, sry for not blogging for the past few days, im fking busy with assignments and reports. At the mean time while writing this, im still having a report that has to be done by tonight.. =)

alright, im done with english presentation.. woohoo... yes! coz i thought it must have been hard to score with miss chandra as the examiner.. she's strict and stuff..
at the end of my presentation, i see a smile from her face, i guess i did okay la.. i don know what that smile meant anywayz.. ==

Back on topic, it was my friend having leukemia.. he was hospitalized for the past one month, thats what i heard.. All of us, the Chinese Johanian gang went and visit him... =)
Sadly, we are not allow to see him because he was not feeling very well..
I hope that he can get well soon.. =)

wedding dinner + a little drunk

hey people, so i went for my relatives wedding today.. it is a distant relative i would say..
i dont even know what to call her..

she is my..... father's mother's elder sister's daughter(what do you think i should call her?) getting married.. lol.. this is the 1st time we met..

and i met some other relatives as well.. they are my grandmother's younger sister's children.. they are about 40-50 years old which had the same table as me..

alright, the wedding was held in regal hotel restaurant... damn, it had such a good business.. the restaurant is three stories high with three different families getting married on each floor. LOL
We got confused on which floor that we should go and got mistaken on the registration area for two times.. because our's was on the highest floor.. i was like.. Lol?!

So, finally we got our table.. naturally, me and my sister are the youngest people on the table.. U think i should be proud?? think again..

As a young adult, they will stuff all the food to me because they said that im still young.. eat more so u grow more.. My sister was managed to escape the tragedy because she's a girl, no one border giving food to her.. maybe she's fat enough i guess XD

i was so stuffed!!! im like begging them stop giving me.. you will see me getting fatter like 50kg extra on monday.. XD
I drank lots of wine too... it is nice =)
no really drunk, just felt a little dizzy.. thats all..

so back to my relatives, one of them that sat beside me is a writer for Nan Yang Press(a chinese newspaper).. i was like "wow".. your chinese must be very good.. indeed, he is..an extremely chinese based person.. This can even be seen on his clothes, his behaviour and the way he talks.. lol

I like the guy thou, he is kind and taught me lots of stuff bout ppl and life.. and he is so fking humble.. omg.. so polite to me even im just a child.. ('Ahem" i meant to say young adult..)
Before being a writer for newspapers, he is a chinese medical doctor(acupuncture , herbs and stuff), awesome rite..

As i told you, he is a very typical china man =)

everything was pretty good, the place was great, the food was okay.. and the mood was good as well..the wine and th place just set you in the mood especially when u drink lots of wine =)

well, when somebody drank alittle too much.. they tend to get alittle emotional.. ya, thats me..

is been so long i never had such a feeling.. yup, im no stranger to it and i knew exactly what the hell is that...

i never knew i like her so much thou.. =) coz i miss her quite abit.. just abit, (i mean really) abit..

A visit to the unfortunate ..

hey people, so this happened few days ago where me and my friends had to go home for disabled for our moral project..

i felt it was quite troublesome at first because they are many community service as well other than visiting the disabled.. so i thought it should be dull and boring..

Once i was there, it was totally not as what i aspected, i actually like the place =)
all of them have various difficulties doing daily activities in their life.. i felt sorry for them...
they are pure and simple-minded with no intention at all..
all they want is have fun and love..

these kids kept pulling me once we got in to the place, they brought me to play with their games and stuff.. some spoiled badminton racket and a weird ball game.. they were so happy to see me joining the game with them.. i exaggerated my "happy“emotion to mix around with them XD

well, they are just trying their best to seek attention from us.. some showed us what they can do best like writing or singing.. some even showed their muscle and stuff like that.. lol

it was a fun experience to understand more about of these people.. i was inspired by their persistence to live happily even with difficulties.. if im one of them, i would not have the courage to do so.. =) we should appreciate and be happy what we have now because not many people can enjoy as much as we can.. i used to be an ass to blame this and that =)
